How to access the Automated External Defibrillator at the Old Down Hall?

There is an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) housed in a special locked cabinet outside the Hall. In the event of a suspected heart attack/cardiac arrest DIAL 999 and ask for AMBULANCE.

If the call handler asks if you have access to an AED to use before an ambulance or paramedic arrives, tell them that the address of the hall is 364 Kempshott Lane, Basingstoke, RG22 5UY. The Ambulance Service call handler will supply the code to access the cabinet.

Please note that the defibrillator is the property of the Ambulance Service, and you must follow this procedure to obtain the code. After opening the cabinet, take out the AED unit, open the case, and follow the voice instructions (or follow the instructions provided by the call handler)
